Meet Our Founder – Theo Bukhosini
The driving force behind Theo Photographic Safaris is Theo Bukhosini, a seasoned tourism and hospitality expert with over 20 years of experience. As our Managing Director, he personally guides many of our safaris, ensuring that every guest enjoys an authentic and immersive African experience.
Achievements and Credentials
Theo is a multi-award-winning tourist guide, field guide, and game ranger. He holds a degree in Nature Conservation and is a certified tourist guide with the South African Department of Tourism. He is also a registered FGASA (Field Guides Association of Southern Africa) guide, demonstrating his deep knowledge and expertise in the field. In addition, he holds an NQF Level 4 tourist guide certificate and is a qualified trails guide, which allows him to lead guided walks in Big 5 reserves, offering guests a truly unique and up-close encounter with nature.
